Need a lil hand
Hey you guys,
If you happen to have any spare crochet hooks & knitting needles you are willing to donate to the Crochet Out please bring them on in for the newbies to learn with. I really want to make sure we have enough. Nothing smaller than g6 for hooks or 6/7 for needles. We will have a box @ the Welcome table for you to just drop them in.

We would like to first apologize for the Blog being down due to technical difficulties. I am glad to announce that the show is still on. For all of you who are still interested in displaying your projects in Fashion Show, but where unable to register. You will be able to participate in the show by signing up the day of the event September 21, from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. So get there early. The Fashion Show starts promptly at 2:00 PM.

TOP GEAR PATTERN
Hook: G6
Yarn: 2 balls Filatura Di Crosa ZARA Merino extra fine 100% soft wool
Special directions: Join each roe with a slip stitch.
Row 1 Ch 4, sl sl into the 4th ch from the hook to form a ring.
Row 2 Ch 3, 12 DC into the loop sl tl in the 3rd ch of ch 3 (tip: dc over the tail so you can use it to close the hole).
Row 3 Ch 3, 2 DC in each st around. 24 st's.
Row 4 Ch 2, SC in the first st, 2 sc in the next st around. 36 st's.
Row 5 Ch 2, sc in the first 2 st's, 2 sc in the next st around. 48 st's.
Row 6 Ch 2, work one row even. Repeat this row for rows 8, 10, 12 & 14.
Row 7 Ch 2, sc in the next 3 st's, 2 sc in the next st around. 60 St's.
Row 9 Ch 2, sc in the next 4 st's, 2 sc in the next st around. 72 st's.
Row 11 Ch 2, sc in the next 5 st's, 2 sc in the next st around. 84 st's.

Of course you do not have to use this yarn. You may have to adjust the pattern if you use a thicker yarn so the hat is not to big. Just please make sure you use the 100% soft wool in the correct colors.
